Splitprint vs the results screenshot

Almost everyone screenshots the official results page and shares it. That is free and, for the feed, enough. Splitprint is for the wall: your 16 official splits next to the median of your category, in a print that does not scroll away. Below is exactly when the screenshot is enough and when it is not.

The screenshot is enough if you only want the feed

Do you just want to post your finish time the day after the race and move on? Then the screenshot of the results page is enough. It is free and it does the one job of sharing the moment. For a lot of people that is honestly all they need, and you do not have to buy anything to do it.

Splitprint is for what the screenshot cannot do

The screenshot shows your times. It does not show how you did against your field, station by station, and it disappears into your camera roll within a week. Splitprint prints your 16 official splits next to the median of your category, on the wall where it stays. You paid a 100 to 200 euro entry fee and months of training to earn these splits, so the print is a rounding error on that.

Why pay when the screenshot is free?
The screenshot is for the feed and it scrolls away. The print is for the wall and it stays, with the one thing the screenshot never shows: how each station landed against the median of your category. Two different jobs.
What does Splitprint show that the results page does not?
The field comparison. The results page shows your own times; Splitprint shows whether you were faster or slower than the median of your exact category, station by station, in green and red.
Is the screenshot accurate enough?
It is accurate, it is just incomplete and temporary. Splitprint uses the same official results and adds the field comparison, guaranteed accurate or your money back.
